/brief
Turn any topic or rough title into a write-ready content brief in one step. Runs one SERP search, finds the best keyword angle, checks for duplicates, and saves the brief to content/briefs/.
Usage
/brief [topic or rough title]
Pass any topic — a rough title, a keyword, a one-liner. The skill figures out the rest.
What it does
- Runs one web search on the most likely primary keyword to find what's ranking and the beginner gap
- Scans existing articles to catch duplicates and surface internal linking opportunities
- Produces a write-ready brief with: type, target keyword, secondary keywords, slug, SEO title, meta description, tags, angle, outline, internal links, and affiliate notes
- Saves the brief to
content/briefs/<slug>.md - Marks the entry in
content/ideas.mdas[BRIEF #1]
Workflow position
quick-brief (/brief) → content-writer (/draft) → seo-auditor (/audit) → publishing-gate (/check) → social-writer (/social)
Output
The brief is saved to content/briefs/<slug>.md and is immediately ready for /draft [slug].
