What's the one thing that finally made AI coding click for you?

not a tool, a mindset. what was the single realization that flipped it from 'fighting the AI' to 'working with it' for you?

for me it was realizing I'm allowed to just try the thing and undo it. the fear was treating every prompt like it was permanent.

When I stopped trusting it. The moment you treat the output as a draft to verify instead of an answer to accept, it gets useful. Skepticism is the unlock.
